Everyone that knows me knows that I have a soft spot for babies. Sweet, tiny, innocent little people. They will steal your heart instantly. I expect to be smitten by the little ones. What I didn't expect was how quickly I fell in love with senior sessions. Not senior citizens, although I would love to capture their wisdom at some point, but the "Class of..." group. The ones that are sitting on the precipice of their entire futures. You can see it in their eyes, the dreams, the excitement, the uncertainty. So let me introduce you to this year's Class of 2019 Senior Representatives Jarret Carnes and Alisabeth Farris.

Jarret Carnes- Class of 2019- Whitehouse High School
I had the best time during this session. Jarret is probably the most easy going, and open to anything kid I have met. No matter what crazy idea I threw at him he went with it. We walked ALL over downtown Tyler and found the coolest places to capture his images. There was a moment that we got serious when we talked about his future. He wants to go into politics. When I asked him about the changes that he want to make in the world, he said "For so long, the concepts of being a public servant, and somebody serving in elected office have become two separate entities. We need to merge the two together again. That is why I want to go into government someday." Lead by serving, I do believe that is what Jesus taught us to do. I think this young man is going to do great things. See more of his gallery and his bio here

Alysabeth Farris- Class of 2019- Art Major
With images captured at the gorgeous Lake Tyler Petroleum Club, Ali's session was a breath of fresh air. We were blessed by a warm golden sunset over Lake Tyler to highlight Ali's beauty. I have known Ali's family for many years. I was her brother's senior photographer last year and had the honor to capture Ali's senior experience this year. Ali has set her sights on her future as an art major. See her full gallery and bio here.
